CIRCULAR NO. 02/2003

For information of all concerned that as per the decision of Mongla Port Authority vessels having maximum LOA over 198 M. upto 225 Metre are allowed to come upto the Harbaria Anchorage area with the following conditions :-

1. An undertaking should be submitted before arrival of the vessel by her agent on the specific format of MPA.

2. All navigational equipment of the vessel should be satisfactory.

3. Maneuvering speed of the vessel should not be less than 10 (ten) knots.

4. The vessel's draft should not exceed 7.00 Metre.

5. One Tug of MPA should be kept compulsorily standby 3 miles south of Mazhar Point at the time of arrival.

6. A Tug be required to keep standby through out her stay in the port at the discretion of Port Authority.

7. Arrival & Departure of the vessel will take place only during fair weather condition.

8. Arrival & Departure will take place during day time only.
